This is Echeveria cante, a very nice plant with yellow-orange flowers born on 18" flower stalks. From the mountains of Zacatecas, it was only recently named, even though the plant
has long been in cultivation under the name of Echeveria subrigida
or Echeveria rosei. The name comes from the Cante Institute and Botanic Garden in San Miguel de Allende,
Guanajuato, Mexico where the Charles Glass was curator until
his death in 1998.
What a beauty!
