Epicactus 'Clown'

Yesterday and today another of our epis decided to bloom: Epicactus (Epiphylum) 'Clown'. It's not one to readily bring forth blossoms, but when it does, whew! It's one of our favorites, but for the first few years we wondered if it would ever bloom. It was worth the wait. It now blooms dependably, but usually just one bloom a year.

Epiphyllums 'Stormy Weather' and 'Butterup'

This morning I'm posting a double-header. Well, they're not on the same plant..., but this is a photo of both 'Buttercup' and 'Stormy Weather' blooming at the same time. I never get tired of these!

I'll be posting a few photos we've been taking over the last couple of weeks, beginning with 'Red Rocket', and what a beauty.
