Tephrocactus alexanderi var. geometracus

This is a seed grown plant of a species which is pretty uncommon in collections.

Tephrocactus geometricus

The flower opened today. Tephrocactus geometricus. (Syn.: Tephrocactus alexanderi var. geometricus)

Always worth the wait.

Tephrocactus alexanderi var. geometricus

We haven't put these up for sale yet since we don't have enough of a supply, but I love the symmetry of the plant. I'll be sure to post a picture when it flowers, plus give a little background information.
