x Graptoveria 'Moonglow'
The Northern night sky is interesting right now with Venus and Jupiter passing closely by each other. And we've had a beautiful full moon lighting up the sky. And Graptoveria 'Moonglow' is looking gorgeous in the greenhouse. How's that for a lead in.
These are big, handsome plants, soft but bold, hidden away at the far end of one of the greenhouse aisles. Safely maneuvering down the greenhouse aisle may be a challenge at this time of year, filled as it is with excess plants desperately waiting for some warmer Spring weather so they can go outside, but it's worth the risk.

More about Grim...AND Cremnosedum 'Crocodile'
As I posted earlier today, this plant is indeed an X Graptoveria which was developed by Robert Grim (note the correct spelling) of California. It appears that there are a lot of "unnamed hybrids" out there which were developed by him. And the one's which were named to honor him, X Sedeveria 'Robert Grimm' and this Graptoveria, both misspelled his name. We continue to use the misspelling, since this is the name which has been in circulation, until we are told it has been properly published with the corrected name.
By the way, another hybrid developed by him is X Cremnosedum 'Crocodile':

Graptoveria 'Opalina' - Echeveria 'Imbricata' - Echeveria lilicina
Meet Graptoveria 'Opalina', Echeveria 'Imbricata' and Echeveria lilicina. We grow them as potted plants and occasionally as summer bedding plants, but in areas of a warmer climate - imagine the possibilities.

Graptoveria 'Bella'
Another Graptoveria, this time 'Bella'. It gets quite large and the color varies by the season - as you can see by the two photos.

Graptoveria 'Debbie'
This is an inter-generic hybrid - x Graptoveria 'Debbie'. It has a very nice pinkish cast that doesn't show up as well as it should in this image. (x Graptoveria = Graptopetalum x Echeveria.)
