Haemanthus humilis

A South African bulb in the Amaryllidaceae family, the flower color varies from white to this gorgeous pink. In addition, it's quite hardy, being able to withstand temperatures to -6C. The succulent bulb grows to about 8 cm diameter.

Ornithogalum concordianum

 
Originally described as an Albuca (Albuca concordiana) by Baker, this fun little bulb was later transfered to Ornithogalum, though both names are used. I posted about this plant last year and there are some excellent habitat photos here. They're fascinating plants but, at least for us, slow in cultivation.

Rauhia peruviana

These plants are from the Maranon and Utcumbamba river valleys in Northern Peru, growing at 1000-1500 meters. Easy to grow with one or two large strap like leaves.

Haemanthus albiflos

A bulb from South Africa, Haemanthus albiflos is certainly impressive. They're easy to grow and send up this dependable "bottle brush" type flower.

It's obvious from the above photo that we have it on the same table as some of our Haworthias and an Echeveria and Sedum. And what about that flower!
