Haworthia cooperi var. venusta ex GM292

This variant of H. cooperi doesn't grow very large but is quite lovely. Grown from habitat collected seed, this remains quite rare in collections.

Haworthia cooperi var. venusta GM292

This variety is small growing and doesn't offset readily but does so over time in cultivation. In addition, it comes from a very small plot in South Africa. In the heat of late summer, it should get a bit of a rest, but at least in our conditions it seems quite tolerant of our haphazard watering schedule.

Haworthia cooperi var. venusta GM292

Since this has been a month with lots of Haworthia pics, I thought I may as well end with one as well: H. cooperi var. venusta. Again, this is seed grown and I know I've posted it before...twice last year in fact. I'll probably post it at least that many times this year as well. Can I help it? I like it.

Haworthia cooperi var. venusta GM292

I was watering plants in the greenhouses today, and though I took some flower pictures, these always grab my attention ... Haworthia cooperi var. venusta GM292, one of my favorite haworthias.

Haworthia cooperi var. venosa

Another haworthia tonight: Haworthia cooperi var. venosa (seed grown from GM292 seed). Compare this to yesterday's haworthia. That's one of the things I like about haworthias, the variety of forms within the genus.

Haworthia cooperi var. venusta ex. GM292

This is a seed grown plant of Haworthia cooperi var. venusta (GM292). I love its plump little fuzzy leaves. We don't have these up for sale yet but probably will later this Spring.
Thanks for visiting.
