Another plant which is showing its colors is Faucaria tigrina. When it decides to flower it does so with style! Between them, the Glottiphylums, and one lone Escobaria, the succulents were putting on quite a show today.
Ah Faucaria tigrina... they are just beautiful! My faucaria opened its first flower for this year a few days ago (pics in my blog) and it has three more flower buds waiting. I'm especially proud of that one because I grew it from seeds. It has several branches and produces more flowers each year. How many different plants are there on your picture?
I'm afraid I'm going to have to go out and count. Probably about 15 in the tray. They are wonderful aren't they? Congratulations on the one you grew from seed. That can be half the fun.

ReplyDeleteHi Petra,
ReplyDeleteI went out and checked and I was wrong. In this tray there are only two multi-branched plants. These are used for stock plants.
