Tylecodon buchholzianus
This is one plant I can't get enough of: Tylecodon buchholzianus. This isn't a pretty plant by any stretch of the imagination. Don't expect any fancy, frilly leaves anytime soon. In fact, it's a down right weird plant. I don't know what that says about me, but I don't really care. I am who I am and I like what I like.

Tylecodon buchholzianus
Like alien creatures doing an intoxicating dance (a little music here!), these plants of Tylecodon buchholzianus are fascinating plants to observe. During our summer, they're dormant and should be watered seldom if at all. During their Winter growing season, they may or may not decide to develop leaves, leaving the photosynthesis to microscopic leaflets on the stems! They do develop a nice little caudex with time and are really quite easy to grow. Give them a little shade during the heat of summer (what's that?!?). (You may also find it under the old name, Cotyledon buchholziana.)
