Haworthia 'Chocolate'

I think we're finally past the worst of the cold for this winter: No more snow and no more super freezes. The bulbs are blooming and the trees are budding out. And, we're not going to need to heat the greenhouses much longer! :) In the meantime, here's a nice, easy to grow cultivar, which is really true to its name. Or maybe I'm just hungry.

Haworthia 'Chocolate'

I hope you don't like chocolate. If you do, this is one tempting plant. Luckily you don't have to eat it to enjoy it. (That's a good thing since I'm supposed to be losing weight, what with my ongoing cardiac condition.)

I'll be finishing off my series on Haworthias this week, especially adding some hybrids. Then maybe next week I'll start on Echeverias?
