What's not to like about this Sinningia? It's easy to grow; it has gorgeous fuzzy-white leaves; and the flowers are fantastic. The tuber, which is usually grown with the top exposed, is just an added "plus" to all the above.
Yes, that's one of the great things about this plant. We knew it years ago as Reichsteineria and it will sometimes still be listed under that genus. Each year, in early Spring, the flowers come first, followed by the leaves. No additional leaves appear, but these get bigger and bigger throughout the summer and fall.
