Echeveria 'Dick's Pink'

Of unknown origin, this cultivar can go through fairly extensive color changes throughout the year, sometimes becoming almost totally purple or red.

  1. Such interesting plants, I would love to be able to grow those in my gaarden. I do purchase small plants at the nursery for indoor growing, which I guess is better than nothing.

  2. Yes, we wish we could as well. Unfortunately, we're on the negative side of "marginal" for growing most echeverias outside.
They don't really make great house plants, needing more light than most homes provide. The solution, grow outside in pots until nighttime temps fall into the low 30's F (1.5-2C) and bring inside to the brightest light available, taking them back outside as soon as possible.
