Rebutia canigueralii var. pulchra

This picture was taken this summer, and it's not as good a photo as I'd like.  But it shows some of the beautiful character of the plant. I've got to get out and get some new photos!

  1. Such an interesting, violet cast. I love cacti and succulents with black, violet, blue, gray, or red leaves or bodies... Just one example -- my Aloe fleurentiniorum is turning all kinds of strange colors in the Southern California sun and heat.

I have tons of Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Mammillaria, Eriosyce,... Based on your photo, I need to give genus Rebutia a closer look, and canigueralii var. pulchra in particular.
