Personal Update and Notocactus (Parodia) buiningii

Between having my tooth worked on - not my favorite activity - and changing things over to our new old used car, we haven't had much time for anything else. Our old 1997 Ford Aerostar van had over 230,000 miles on it and several things which needed work, so we're going backward to a 1995 Ford Aerostar van with under 120,000 miles on it. We'll then initiate it with our drive to Arizona & Southern California, leaving the nursery and animals in the hands of our son, Naiche. Of course we take our two dogs with us and then cram the car full of succulent plants from a variety of wholesale nurseries - about 14 or so in less than two weeks. But due to the tooth problems, we'll delay our trip by a week. So...a couple of photos of Notocactus (Parodia) buiningii:
These photos were taken a few days ago. Today they were wide open and I'll post those photos tomorrow. Until then, enjoy your plants.

  1. Hello Luther and Lynn, I hope you are well. All of your cactus plants are beautiful. The calm yellow color of above flower is amazing. Thank you for sharing it.
