I have been tring to grow some stapeliads & I have an artificial light which puts out a lot of heat but provides what would equal full spectrum, equal to full sun. I bought some commercial potting soil which had 'cactus fertilizer' in it. I used about 1/2 & half with sand, pumice. The stapelias have become long & leggy. I've made several attempts to propagate & start over, but they just rot. I let them dry for a couple days to a couple weeks. I'd like men to look 'stubby' like the photo. I got one of the stapelias from Kara. Its now about 5-1/2" tall!
